Giving back

 

Margot was the Keynote speaker at a Charity lunch for the PACE Center for Girls in Naples, Florida Collier/Immokalee location in March of 2016.

 

PACE Center values all girls and young women, believing each one deserves an opportunity to find her voice, achieve her potential and celebrate a life defined by responsibility, dignity, serenity and grace.

 

Margot is especially passionate about the PACE Center's for girls work due to her own experience working as a lawyer in the Criminal Justice System in Ontario. She believes the PACE Center's focus on providing education, counselling, training and advocacy saves many girls lives and is very honoured and excited to be involved with such an important cause. Margot believes that we can learn a great deal from our American counterparts and would love to see a similar program put in place for girls in Canada.

 

 

Margot's love of baseball prompted her to sponsor a girls baseball team for the Topham Road League 2016 season. Not surprisingly, the teams name was 'I am'
